Does My Bullmastiff Need a DOG Tag?

Any bullmastiff that is going to be outside should always wear a DOG tag (ID tag). In fact, even bullmastiffs that are primarily indoors should wear a DOG tag incase they somehow find their way outside.

The Giant Schnauzer is known in german as "Riesenschnauzer", meaning "the giant". It should closely resemble the other Schnauzers, miniature and standard. However, they are really completely unique and unrelated breeds. They have just developed in such a way, over time, that they look similar to each other.

A DOG ID tag is not the same thing as a DOG license tag. A DOG license tag often has a code number to identify the bullmastiff and information on whether the bullmastiff has had its shots. A DOG license tag allows anyone that finds the bullmastiff to contact the vet that the license came from, but, if it's after hours or a weekend the vet may be closed.

The American Kennel Club recognizes more than 150 breeds? Segmented into seven different breed types, all breed possess unique temperaments, physical characteristics as well as a rich background in history.

A DOG ID tag, on the other hand, is a personal DOG tag that the owner can put important information on. This information generally includes the bullmastiff's name, home address, phone number and occasionally things like allergies that the bullmastiff has. This allows the average person on the street to contact the bullmastiff's family quickly and easily any day of the week.

The tibetan terrier is not a true terrier and is probably more closely related to the lhasa apso. However, the tibetan terrier is indeed from Tibet, where monks once treasured this intelligent breed of dogs as guardians of their temples.

It's also important to remember that a DOG ID tag is only as good as the collar it's attached to. Be sure that your bullmastiff's collar is not too tight or too loose and that it is made of a material that you can easily attach the DOG ID tag to. After all, the tag will not do anyone any good if it falls off and gets lost.

Barbara Bush wrote "Millie's Book", a book about her English Springer Spaniel, Millie. The book was an instant success. It was on the bestseller list for 29 weeks. Millie was the most popular "First Dog" in United States history.

While it's not usually required that an owner put a personal ID tag on their bullmastiff, the benefits of doing so are obvious.

The basenji, an African wolf dog, is the only breed of dog that cannot bark. Instead of barking, it makes an odd yodel-like noise. Due to this fact, the basenji is also sometimes known as an African barkless dog.
